Welcome!

My Definition: Supreme rulership, power, self-governance, and authority over oneself. While traditionally this term has been used to refer to rulers, political units, and governments, my word usage reclaims full independence over self, a self which does not require governance by any outside authority. And the assertion that by virtue of our essential nature, we are ALL originally blessed, wise, sacred, infinite, and whole.

We live in a world that is designed to confuse and manipulate us, from nearly every angle. Clarity comes from detaching from the varied information sources and choosing wisely (and sparingly) what we allow to enter our sphere of influence. The closer we come to the truth of our existence, by virtue of discovering everything that is not true, the clearer the inner voice of guidance becomes, resonating from our center.

Wisdom is gained through lived experience, and is conventionally associated with elders and those of advanced age. I additionally include innocent wisdom, like the surprisingly wise statements that come unprompted from the mouths of babes. Wisdom is usually simple. The trick is learning to trust that voice because it nearly always diverges from accepted norms, traditions, and societal programming.

It can be challenging to live from true north, that resolute beacon of inner knowing, as much of what we are encouraged to base our actions upon aligns with intellect over heart. Intellect can (and will) lie, though. Heart cannot. A heart-led existence requires living the fullest life you can possibly conceive of. Even so, despite my heart's amplified demands, I can't imagine operating by any other barometer.

We are creative beings. A life shut off from our creative spark elicits numbness and disconnection. We feel dead inside, and not surprisingly, we use various addictive mechanisms to replace this essential need. Creation is our natural impulse. To divorce ourselves from our creational longings is to suppress the authentic self. Conversely, to choose the creative life means to strive for our greatest aspirations and be liberated.

Spaciousness within oneself allows for deeper contemplation about what truly matters. Space is perhaps the most fundamental principle of all. Without sufficient space, we cannot access inner authority, gain clarity, act from wisdom, center in the heart, nor can we open to the creational void and pull through original work. To live free, to even begin to understand that the mind has not yet been freed, there must be an opening.
